A Voice That’s Truly Yours

At Alami Voice Studio, I believe every voice is unique and worthy of being heard. My teaching is rooted in the idea that singing should be both empowering and joyful—a space where hard work and creativity go hand in hand. Whether you're just starting out or returning to your voice after time away, you’ll be met with kindness, structure, and clear guidance.

Who I Work With

I work with singers of all ages, from children just discovering their voices to university students preparing for professional careers, and adult avocational singers who simply want to explore their potential. I meet students where they are and build from there, with respect, patience, and consistency.

What Lessons Look Like

Lessons at Alami Voice Studio are student-led and collaborative. That means we work together to choose repertoire, set goals, and track progress in a way that’s meaningful and motivating for you. I tailor lessons based on your musical interests and personal goals, whether that’s:

  • Preparing for auditions or college entrance

  • Building technique for classical, musical theatre, or pop repertoire

  • Developing confidence and performance presence

  • Learning to read music, sight-sing with solfège, or improve your ear training

Musicianship Matters

In addition to vocal technique, I incorporate music theory for singers, sight singing, and ear training into lessons—because understanding music helps you sing it more confidently and accurately. These skills empower singers to become more independent, prepared, and versatile.

My Approach

I hold high standards for my students, but I always lead with compassion. My teaching style is best described as kind but challenging—I’ll push you to grow, but I’ll never push you beyond what’s healthy or respectful of your pace.

In each lesson, I aim to create a space that’s supportive, motivating, and rooted in curiosity. I want my students to leave feeling stronger, smarter, and more connected to their voice than when they arrived.

Your Voice, Your Journey

Whether your goal is to land the lead in your school musical, prepare for a conservatory audition, join your church choir, or sing for the love of it, I’d love to be part of your journey.
